Bob Upham is a successful and experienced entrepreneur, advisor and mentor. He founded two companies, one that was named one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies (2001). He spent 8 years at Yahoo, running strategic partnerships. After Yahoo, he was head of U.S. business for Dolphin, a Wuhan, China Series B-funded mobile browser with 150mm users, and then head of Business and Corporate Development at a Series-A mobile search company. Until recently, he ran the go-to-market strategy and execution for Visa’s cross-border blockchain initiative. He is a lecturer at UC Berkeley Haas, advisor, mentor and speaker at UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship, Hong Kong Cyberport, TrepCamp incubator (Mexico), Nyenrode University (Amsterdam), SantanderX (Santander Corporate Venture and Innovation), speaks regularly on fintech, entrepreneurship and corporate innovation, has advised dozens of start-ups and is and active member of the venture community in Silicon Valley.
